The name of the tournament is Gavin Hinds Invitational.

The tournament is held at Haugaland Golfklubb on 15 September 2012 from 10:00 to 12:00.

Registration starts the 16 August 2012 at 00:00.

Tournament fee consist of membership.
  • For all players, which have the following status club member, is tournament fee 200 NOK.
  • For all players, which have the following status not club member, is tournament fee 400 NOK.


The tournament is a individual tournament.

There will be played in 4 groups divided by gender, handicap and age.
  • The group with the name "A" is to all players with handicap not more than 11.9, regardless of gender and age.
  • The group with the name "B" is to men with handicap between 12.0 and 36.0, regardless of age.
  • The group with the name "C" is to ladies, regardless of handicap and age.
  • The group with the name "Barneklasse" is to all players, if age is highest 10 year, regardless of gender and handicap.


The tournament is an open tournament.

Max. number of players are 92.

The tournament has a waiting list sorted after "first come - first serve" principle.

The tournament has handicap limitations divided by gender.
  • For ladies then handicap not higher than 36.0.
  • For men then handicap not higher than 36.0.


1st round will be played 15 September 2012.

There will be played on the course Haugaland Golfbane Sveio.

The group "A" player strokeplay.
The group "B" player stableford.
The group "C" player stableford.
The group "Barneklasse" player stableford.

The group "A" player without handicap.
The group "B" player with full phcp.
The group "C" player with full phcp.
The group "Barneklasse" player with full phcp.

There will be played over 18 holes.

Playing with a maximum handicap allowance of 36.0.

There will be played from different tees used for gender and group.
  • All men In the group "A" must be played from white tee.
  • All men In the group "B" must be played from yellow tee.
  • All ladies In the group "C" must be played from red tee.
  • All players In the group "Barneklasse" must be played from red tee, regardless of gender.


Decision if equal score has different settings per group.
  • For the group "B" winner if equal score determined by lowest playing handicap, last 18, last 9, last 6, last 3 and last hole.
  • For the group "C" winner if equal score determined by lowest playing handicap, last 18, last 9, last 6, last 3 and last hole.


Tied 1st. place determined by sudden death playoff.

Turneringen har Closest the Pin og Longest Drive.
